1 ESO - SCHOOL RESEARCH PROJECT

RESEARCH AND SURVEY:

A: In the hall…
- How many waste bins are there in the school hall?
- Are there any recycling bins for paper or plastic?
- Is there a container for glass?
- Is there a box for batteries?
- Is there a place to leave the bottle lids?
- Would you recycle plastic and paper if we had recycling bins in the hall?

B: In the canteen…
- Are there any recycling bins?
- Open one of the bins: What can you see inside?

C: In the school…
- Is there a compost bucket or a composter?
- Where do you put the remnants of your snacks?
- Where do the canteen owners put the food remnants?
- Is there a drinking fountain?
- Do you drink water from the taps? Why? Why not?
- Would you drink water from the taps if it were better?

D: In your classroom…
- How many people in your group try to reduce the use of paper or reuse it?
- Is there a paper bin?
- Would you recycle paper if you had a paper bin in the classroom?



E: You and your classmates…
- How many people are there in your class?
- How many people in your group buy water bottles or drink cans at the canteen?
- How many people in your group use a reusable drinking bottle?
- How many people in your group use a cloth bag or plastic box for their snacks?
- How many people in your group recycle the paper and plastic of their snacks? 
- What are the reasons why some people don't recycle it?
